The volume of March Vida premiums increased by 32% in 2018 to reach 436.5 million euros

  • The volume of March Vida premiums marketed by Banca March in 2018 came to 436.5 million euros, which meant an increase of 32% with respect to the previous year.
  • The dynamic marketing of unit linked was noteworthy, representing a volume of premiums of 224.5 million euros, and that of guaranteed savings and forecast products, which came to 170.3 million euros.

In 2018, the volume of March Vida premiums marketed by Banca March came to 436.5 million euros, which meant an increase of 32% with respect to the previous year. The marketing of unit linked was particularly noteworthy, with a premium volume of 224.5 million euros, and that of guaranteed savings and forecast products, which came to 170.3 million euros. At the end of the 2018 financial year, March Vida's portfolio included over 82,000 policies, with mathematical reserves of 1,266.9 million euros.

BANCA MARCH INSURANCE DEPARTMENT

These figures show the dynamism of Banca March's Insurance Department, which includes the Insurance Banking and Forecast Unit and the insurance subsidiary, March Vida. Its main goal is to develop a transversal range of insurance solutions for all Banca March's lines of business to complete and consolidate the entity's model of specialisation in asset private banking and advice for companies. Carlos Navarro, Assistant Managing Director of Banca March and manager of the entity's Insurance Department stated: "This proposal allows us to highlight the importance and boost the marketing of insurance products for savings and medium and long-term forecasting in accordance with our specialised model, very focussed on the needs of our customers, who demand a personalised service with tailored electronic, flexible, transparent solutions".

LAUNCH OF NEW INSURANCE PRODUCTS IN 2019 

The goal for 2019 is to develop the good dynamics of previous years through the marketing of March Vida products, with innovative solutions specially designed for Banca March's Asset Banking and Private Banking segments.

In this sense, the recent launch of two new insurance policies is noteworthy: March Vida MultiETF Unit Linked and PIAS Next Generation Unit Linked.
