Banca March pays unemployment benefit early for the second month running

  • This early benefit payment is intended to support those who have been hit hardest by the consequences of Covid-19.
 
  • The bank has also reminded customers of the importance of using ATMs and remote banking services to manage their regular banking transactions. 
 
Banca March has paid unemployment benefits early for the second month running. The bank will deposit unemployment benefit payments into customers' accounts on the 5th of May.
 
This early payment measure is designed to support one of the groups that have been most severely impacted by the current situation.
 
Banca March is also reminding its customers of the importance of using ATMs for cash withdrawals and its Remote Banking services – online banking and the app – to undertake their regular banking transactions.
 
Since the 16th of March, cash withdrawals of over 150 euros have been free of charge to all Banca March cardholders at any ATM in Spain and worldwide.
 
This week, Banca March has also announced the launch of its new corporate website www.bancamarch.es in response to growing demand for quality information on the impact of Covid-19 on the economy and the markets, as well as for wealth management recommendations.
 
BANCA MARCH'S RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS
 
Our primary concern throughout the public health crisis triggered by Covid-19 has been to put in place the necessary measures to protect the health both of our professionals in Spain and in Luxembourg and of our customers, whilst guaranteeing business continuity.
 
We have rolled out remote working across all areas in both central services and the retail distribution network, ensuring that almost all of our professionals have the resources they need to enable them to work from home.
