Complaints procedure

Notwithstanding the right of the policyholder or other stakeholders to take legal proceedings, they shall retain the right, in relation to the broker's activities, to file complaints and claims before the Customer Service Department or Customer Ombudsman of the insurer, or before the Commission for the Defence of Policyholders and Pension Plan participants, pursuant to the procedure set out in the insurance policy in question and the regulations in relation to protection of financial service consumers.
