Statement on the accessibility of Banca March documents

At Banca March, we believe it is essential that all documentation addressed to our customers—defined as a consumer in Law 11/2023—be accessible, thus facilitating equal opportunities in accessing and understanding information related to our products and services. This statement reflects our commitment to ensuring that digital and physical documentation progressively meets the accessibility criteria established in current regulations.

Regulatory framework

This statement is based on Law 11/2023, of 8th May, on the accessibility of products and services, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882. This law establishes the requirements that documents related to products and services must meet, including both public documentation and specific documentation intended for consumers. In particular, the sole transitional provision outlines the following deadlines:

  • Documents associated with products and services existing before 28th June 2025 can be updated until 28th June 2030.
  • Documents related to products and services introduced on or after 28th June 2025 must be fully accessible upon issuance.

Current status and adaptation plan

Banca March currently has a large volume of documentation that requires progressive adaptation in order to meet accessibility standards. To address this challenge, an external provider has been engaged that offers automated document transformation tools capable of efficiently and accurately adapting existing documents to regulatory standards.

Furthermore, from a preventive perspective, the accessibility guidelines specific to the document creation tools used (such as Word, PowerPoint, Writer, or InDesign) are being incorporated, with the aim of creating documents that are accessible from the outset and reducing the need for subsequent adaptations.

This strategy includes:

  • Public documents available on the web, especially those that are not time-bound and remain current, such as product catalogues, which will be adapted to ensure accessibility.
  • Documents of a temporary or historical nature, such as reports from previous years, are not required to be adapted.
  • Customised documentation sent to customers, such as contracts, receipts, and communications.
  • New documents issued as of 28th June 2025 will be fully accessible upon issuance.

Institutional commitment

Banca March is committed to ensuring accessibility in all documents related to its products and services, following regulatory standards and best practices. To do this:

  • A continuous process of adaptation and improvement of document accessibility will be implemented.
  • In the process of creating new documents, accessibility will be integrated from the start.
  • The teams responsible for document creation and management will be trained and awareness will be raised to ensure compliance with accessibility criteria.
  • Channels for customers to report difficulties or suggestions related to the accessibility of documentation will be set up.

This statement will be reviewed periodically to reflect progress and potential regulatory updates.
