With the appointment of Paz Pinilla, March Vida reinforces its commitment to having professionals with recognized experience to continue strengthening March Vida as a provider of value-added insurance strategies.

March Vida, a wholly owned subsidiary of Banca March, has appointed Paz Pinilla a new independent director and she will also be the chairperson of the insurance company's Audit Committee. Other new members of March Vida's Board of Directors are Ángel Martínez Marañón, Managing Director of Banca March and Head of Retail and Private Banking, and Miguel Corredoira, Head of Customer Experience at Banca March, respectively.

Paz Pinilla has more than 30 years of international professional experience in the insurance sector, where she has worked especially on the development of innovative solutions, sealing deals with companies outside the sector and liaising with key customers. She has performed a range of management roles in various countries (Spain, UK, Hong Kong, Switzerland) during her career.
With a degree in Economics, specialising in Actuarial Sciences, and a member of the Spanish Institute of Actuaries (IAE), she was the managing director of Swiss Re for Spain and Portugal from 2014 to 2017. She has been the Lead Business Partner Prospective in the area of Corporate Partnerships at Swiss Re in Switzerland since October 2020, responsible for putting agreements in place with major non-insurance corporations.
