Banca March has obtained the international ISO 27001 certification, awarded by AENOR, after successfully passing a comprehensive audit that confirms the robustness of the information security management system implemented across the institution. This accreditation is the global benchmark standard and establishes a demanding framework for information protection, guaranteeing its confidentiality, integrity and availability. Achieving this certification demonstrates that Banca March has a management system that complies with the international standard and integrates processes, controls and measures designed to reduce risks, prevent incidents and continuously strengthen the security of data relating to its clients, employees and vendors. This achievement forms part of the institution’s commitment to cybersecurity and operational resilience, which are essential pillars of financial activity in an environment of increasing digitisation. This ISO 27001 certification is in addition to other initiatives undertaken by Banca March in the areas of security, technology and operational resilience, as part of the bank’s ongoing digital transformation and continuous improvement process. A strong commitment to cybersecurity Banca March embraces the challenge of digital transformation with a firm commitment to investment in technology and digitisation. This effort has intensified in 2025 in response both to new cybersecurity requirements and to the profound transformation underway in the financial services sector. Through June, the bank had invested 85 million euros, 39% more than in the same period last year. In addition, Banca March is now a fully omnichannel institution in which clients choose how they interact with the bank. Eight out of ten clients in Banca March’s specialised areas (Private Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Banking and Large Corporates) regularly use remote channels to carry out the bulk of their transactions. In this way, Banca March consolidates its leadership in advisory technology, with its Avantio digital branch as the main driver for delivering a high-quality service to digitally oriented clients.
