Banca March is launching March Future, a co-investment proposal channelled through private equity vehicles that will invest in broad trends in the fields of sustainability, resilience and sovereignty of the European economy. March Future has selected four investment strategies based on fast-growing megatrends that have been identified as pillars of the European economy for the coming years: (1) impact investing, both environmental and social, focused on resilient business models which are compatible with climate and biodiversity protection as well as health and well-being; 2) transition infrastructure, focused on the transformation of the existing infrastructure network in response to the dynamics of the energy, digital and demographic transitions; 3) cybersecurity, in view of the need to step up protection of the digital economy and digital infrastructures; 4) artificial intelligence and deep tech as the drivers of a profound transformation of the economic and industrial landscape through the latest scientific discoveries and engineering innovations.

Together with its co-investor clients, Banca March will invest up to €50 million in the four strategies identified for March Future. To this end, it has partnered with four pioneering, leading global asset managers in these areas: EQT Future for environmental and social impact investing; Antin Infrastructure Partners for Transition Infrastructure; Tikehau Capital for cybersecurity; and Jolt Capital for artificial intelligence and deep tech. March Future will deliver an estimated annualised net IRR of between 16% and 20% and a net multiple greater than two times the invested capital, with a target horizon of ten years.
