Banca March expands its advisory services for companies in specialised sectors with the Be&Jing 1 securitisation fund, an initiative by Raúl Berdonés and Pablo Jimeno, founders of Secuoya Content Group. Banca March acts as the structurer of the operation, which will be co-financed by the bank and the fund’s promoters. Be&Jing 1 will be managed by Intermoney Titulización, a subsidiary of the CIMD group, and is launching with an investment capacity of 50 million euros. Linklaters has acted as legal advisor for the transaction.

The objective of the new securitisation fund is to boost content production by providing an alternative financing option for fiction works and films. The growth of the industry in Spain, driven by new consumption models for higher-value content, has revealed a demand that the traditional financial market does not fully satisfy — a gap that Be&Jing 1 aims to fill. In this respect, a securitisation fund was chosen for its flexibility and efficiency.

The fund has been specifically designed to support the financing of projects by Spanish production companies. Through this mechanism, it aims to foster the development of the audiovisual industry in Spain by providing producers with access to financial resources that enable them to bring their creative ideas to life and strengthen their position in the market.

The appointment of Antonio Manso Marcos to lead the selection of opportunities and the execution of Be&Jing 1’s strategy reflects a commitment to expert management with a strategic vision and in-depth knowledge of the sector. Manso is a professional with a distinguished track record in finance and media in Spain. For nearly three decades, he served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Atresmedia Corporación, where he led key strategic decisions, as well as financial structuring and investment processes that contributed to the group’s growth and consolidation.
