As a result, SMEs and self-employed professionals in Pontevedra and Ourense can access financing for their projects under advantageous conditions. The credit line covers a wide range of business needs, including financing for investment, working capital, liability restructuring, and real estate acquisition. Today, Banca March and the Mutual Guarantee Society for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of Pontevedra and Ourense (SOGARPO, S.G.R.) signed a collaboration agreement aimed at boosting the Galician business sector. The agreement was signed by Felipe Rastrollo, who sits at the head of Banca March's Corporate Banking unit, and José Cabaleiro, SOGARPO's General Manager. Through this agreement, Banca March is making a line of financing of up to €20 million available to SOGARPO's participating partners, thus reinforcing its commitment to economic development and the consolidation of SMEs as an engine for wealth and job creation. The agreement, signed at SOGARPO's headquarters in Vigo, will allow small and medium-sized enterprises in Pontevedra and Ourense to access financing on advantageous terms to undertake their investment projects and cover their working capital needs. The capital will be guaranteed by SOGARPO, an entity with 45 years of experience in facilitating access to credit for SMEs. The €20 million figure may increase if the needs of the companies so require before its maturity. The agreement covers a wide range of financial products, including credits, loans for investment, for working capital, for liability restructuring and for the acquisition of real estate. In addition, both entities will collaborate in promoting and facilitating access to other lines of financing from organisations such as ICO, and will be able to jointly develop specific financial products tailored to the needs of companies in the region.
