The global consulting firm applauded the high scores achieved by Banca March in surveys for several years thanks to its culture of excellence and employees' sense of pride in belonging Banca March also outperformed in other areas, including a clear roadmap for the future, employee trust in the management team, team work and a commitment to close leadership engagement.

This latest milestone comes after Banca March was named the fifth best workplace in Spain according to the Best Workplaces ranking compiled by Great Place to Work® in 2022, and was the only bank to make it into the European ranking for the second year running. Early this year, the bank was also certified as a Top Employer for the fifth year running by the consultancy firm Top Employers Institute, for delivering an excellent work environment and building a high-performance, results-driven organisation underpinned by the ethical values of professionalism, expertise, meritocracy and responsible banking.
Great Place to Work has been working with companies around the world for more than 30 years to identify, create and maintain a culture of deep trust and outstanding performance. One of the most prestigious HR management consulting firms in Spain and globally, Great Place to Work requires companies to meet the highest international standards of excellence in the development and implementation of their people management strategies.
GPTW gauges employee trust using two indicators: The Trust Index, which analyses the employee's views on their organisation, and the Culture Audit, which assesses the company's people management practices and policies, and the corporate culture. An analysis of these two indicators offers a measurable internal diagnosis of employee satisfaction at Banca March, which is among the strongest in the Spanish financial sector.
Banca March performed exceptionally well in four key areas of the survey: pride, achievements, excellent service and motivation to contribute to the project. An impressive 88% of employees feel proud to say they work at Banca March, and 92% are proud of what the bank has achieved. As for customer service levels, 86% of employees believe the company delivers excellent service. Banca March also scored highly on motivation; 86% of the bank's professionals said they identified with the Banca March project and were therefore motivated to participate.
The audit also revealed a climate of respect and team work, with 88% of employees describing Banca March as a friendly place to work, 87% saying they are treated well and 91% saying they felt welcome upon joining the organisation.
This certification, awarded to Banca March for the fourth year running, is a clear reflection the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan for Human Resources, which seeks to build a high-performance, people-centric corporate culture with a clear focus on the bank's core values: commitment, integrity, ambition, rigour and effort.
