Banca March launches equity fund investing in climate change solutions

Banca March has launched, through its asset manager March Asset Management (A.M.), March International - March Climate Solutions, a themed global equity fund which invests in companies and sectors which deliver solutions to the challenges posed by climate change and global warming and supports the decarbonisation of the economy in accordance with the United Nations' sustainable development goals for 2030.
The fund's portfolio is fully invested in listed global companies and is structured around 10 environment-related megatrends, with stronger growth potential than the global economy as a whole. These broad trends include renewable energies, the circular economy, energy efficiency and technologies focused on the industrial, consumer staples, consumer discretionary and financial sectors. Against the current market backdrop, these sectors stand to benefit from falling costs, regulatory tailwinds and increased financial aid for climate solutions.
March Climate Solutions is an article 8 fund under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and is eligible to be offered to customers with sustainability criteria. Within the Luxembourg-domiciled range (March International), Iberia, Mediterranean Fund and March Green Transition Bond are also article 8 funds, underscoring the Banca March Group's unwavering commitment to sustainability and to protecting the planet.
