The new hub is located in a listed building on Malaga's Alameda Principal, with a total built area of 1,106 sqm spread across five floors above ground spanning around 200 sqm each. The refurbishment of the building was undertaken in accordance with LEED GOLD certification guidelines, guaranteeing the highest standards of accessibility, sustainability, indoor air quality and energy efficiency, among other features. As at June 2024, the province of Malaga accounts for 46% of Banca March's business in Andalusia, which stands at a total business volume of almost €1.4 billion. This new opening is a clear reflection of Banca March's robust commitment to Andalusia, where it has had a footprint since 2001, and delivers progress on its strategy of positioning itself as the Spanish leader in private banking, wealth management and corporate advisory services. The new business centre is located in a listed building built in traditional nineteenth-century Malaga bourgeois style and dating to 1870. It has a total built area of 1,106 sqm across five above-ground floors, spanning around 200 sqm each. The building underwent a comprehensive refurbishment to recover and preserve its historical features, including the traditional window frames and wooden joinery on the façades, the shutters and grilles, the staircase and the interior patio, as well as some of the Nolla mosaic flooring. This comprehensive refurbishment has been carried out following the guidelines of the LEED GOLD certification, an accreditation that verifies, among other things, the highest standards of accessibility, sustainability, indoor air quality and energy efficiency. On the ground and first floor is the bank office itself, equipped with a cash desk in the public courtyard, four personalised customer service rooms, a management office and two managers' rooms. The building's history is best represented on the second floor, which features the recovered Nolla mosaic flooring. In addition, it has an event room with a capacity for 40 people, as well as a dining room next to a kitchen-office. The third floor houses three meeting rooms, a managers' room and an auxiliary area. The fourth floor has a meeting room and a managers' room, an outdoor terrace, a kitchen area for staff and a technical support area.
