Banca March is opening a new business hub at 42 Calle Larga, on the corner of Calle Mora, in the historic centre of Jerez. This new opening follows the recent inauguration of the Malaga Alameda Principal business hub, emphasising Banca March's commitment to the region of Andalusia, where it has had a footprint since 2001. These openings will support the bank's progress towards its goal of becoming the Spanish sector leader in private banking, wealth management and corporate advisory, specialising in family businesses and business-owning families.

In the first half of 2024, Banca March's business volume in Jerez was up by 13% year on year, and now accounts for nearly 35% of Banca March's total business volume of almost €1.4 billion in Andalusia.

José Luis Acea, CEO of Banca March, said: “Banca March is highly committed to Andalusia, where we have been operating 23 years, as is reflected by the two recent openings in under a month: the new Jerez business hub and the recently inaugurated Málaga Alameda Principal business hub. Since 2001, when we opened our first branch in Andalusia - specifically, in Cadiz, we have continued to grow in the region by business volume and by customer numbers. Today, the province of Cadiz accounts for almost 35% of Banca March's business volume in Andalusia. In the first half of 2024, our business volume in Jerez was up by 12.7% year on year. There has also been substantial growth in customer numbers. So far this year, retail banking customers are up by 61.3% and private banking customers are up by 10.4%. Jerez is a highly active market which has delivered higher growth than the national average in recent years, as has Andalusia. Banca March is here to continue to support the region's economic development, providing savers and companies with a unique business model focused on specialist advisory services as we seek to deliver on our goal of becoming the Spanish market leader in private banking, wealth management and corporate advisory, specialising specifically on family businesses, enterprises and entrepreneurs."

The new business hub in Jerez de la Frontera has a total ground floor surface area of 530 sqm, over 80% of which is allocated to customer services.
