Large Walking Figure is a monumental sculpture modeled in clay and cast in bronze. The plasticity of the clay -its capacity to record the gesture- is preserved in the bronze yet also set in tension with it.

The sculpture is built on such contradictions: a gigantic five-metre-high figure that appears barely able to hold itself together; a strong step into space that also suggests struggle; a human shape without flesh or face. It embodies both the difficulty of existing and a sense of resistance in the face of adversity.
