Category "1" does not mean that the investment is risk-free

Asset preservation and value creation within a risk-controlled environment: the moderate investment option within the March Group’s Institutional SICAVs.

What is it?

One of the three institutional SICAVs managed by March Asset Management, it is designed for a moderate risk profile in its investments, with the goal of achieving a higher return over the medium and long term.

Mixed global strategy, where normally 50% of the portfolio seeks to beat the world's main stock markets with lower volatility, and the other 50% seeks returns that remain above the Euribor.

Investment in fixed income is in assets owned by public and private issuers with a high level of solvency and an average duration of 1 year.

Investment in equities targets domestic, European and US firms with strong fundamentals and appealing dividend yields. It also targets investment in emerging markets via companies or funds that specialise in the region in question.

Currency exposure will be largely hedged to avoid adding volatility to the fund, although this is at the discretion of the managers.

Why invest?

Preserving assets and creating value within an environment of moderate risk, obtaining greater returns in the medium and long term. The investment policy is governed by the following criteria:

  • Investment in fixed income in assets owned by public and private issuers with a high level of solvency and an average duration of 1 year. In terms of the investment in equities, this involved both European and US firms with solid foundations and attractive returns per dividend. Investment in equities targets domestic, European and US firms with strong fundamentals and appealing dividend yields.
  • Dynamic approach in the allocation of assets, adjusting the exposure to equities based on the market environment.
  • Mixed global strategy, where 50% of the portfolio seeks to beat the world's main stock markets with lower volatility, and the other 50% seeks returns that remain above the Euribor.
  • No benchmark index is followed when determining the weight of companies, sectors or countries.
