Banca March extends free ATM cash withdrawals and deferment of card payments

  • Banca March cardholders can withdraw cash at any national and international ATM for free until 31 July.
  • Likewise, credit card holders can defer the payment of purchases of more than 150 euros for three or six months, without any fees or interest.

In response to the crisis caused by Covid-19, Banca March has implemented a series of measures associated with the service provided to its customers. Some of these early decisions focused on payment methods and ATM transactions. Specifically, since 16 March and initially for a period of two months, all Banca March cardholders have been able to withdraw cash from any national or international ATM for free, with a minimum withdrawal of 150 euros. They can also defer their credit card payments for three or six months, at no extra cost. Banca March has now extended these measures until 31 July.

This extension of free cash withdrawals and deferral of purchase payments is just one of the measures that the bank has implemented to support customers and facilitate everyday banking transactions.

Since the start of the state of emergency, Banca March has been advancing the payment of state pensions and unemployment benefits for customers who have set them up as direct deposits.

As a result, there has been an increase in the use of the bank's digital channels (remote banking), both through the website and the mobile app. On 28 April Banca March also announced the launch of a new corporate website, www.bancamarch.es , in response to growing demand for quality information on the impact of Covid-19 on the economy and the markets, as well as for wealth management recommendations.
