Accessibility statement for the Banca March corporate website

At Banca March, we are committed to providing an inclusive digital experience for all our customers. For this reason, we have initiated a process of continuous review and improvement of the accessibility of all our digital platforms, with the goal of aligning them with the criteria of the international WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standard.

Our goal is to ensure that everyone can access our digital services autonomously and safely, in compliance with the requirements established by Law 11/2023 on the accessibility of products and services.

Regulatory framework

Law 11/2023, of 8th May, which transposes the Directive (EU) 2019/882 relating to the accessibility requirements for certain products and services, establishes that digital platforms from entities that provide banking services to consumers must have been made accessible by 28th June 2025.

Accessible content

Currently, Banca March's corporate website is partially aligned with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

The criteria of this standard that are currently met are detailed below:

  • Criterion 1.3.2: The correct reading sequence of the content can be determined by software.
  • Criterion 1.3.3: Instructions for operating the content do not depend exclusively on sensory characteristics (such as shape, colour, or position).
  • Criterion 1.3.4: Screen orientation is not restricted except when it is essential to do so.
  • Criterion 1.4.1: Colour is not used as the only means to convey information or indicate actions.
  • Criterion 1.4.2: Where applicable, auto-playing audio can be paused or stopped.
  • Criterion 1.4.5: Images with text are not used except when it is essential to do so.

  • Criterion 2.4.7: Keyboard focus is visible on interactive elements.
  • Criterion 2.5.1: Complex pointer gestures have a simple alternative.
  • Criterion 2.5.2: Initiated actions can be cancelled with a single pointer.
  • Criterion 2.5.3: The programmatic name of the elements matches the visible text.
  • Criterion 3.1.1: The primary language of each page is defined by software.
  • Criterion 3.2.1: Elements do not automatically initiate functions when they are focused on.
  • Criterion 3.2.2: Elements do not perform unexpected actions when receiving input.
  • Criterion 3.2.4: Components with the same function are presented consistently across all pages.
  • Criterion 3.3.1: When errors are detected in forms, they are appropriately described.
  • Criterion 3.3.3: Suggestions are offered for correcting errors in data entry.
  • Criterion 3.3.4: In legal or financial transactions, the system allows you to review, confirm, or correct data before finalising the transaction.
  • Criterion 4.1.3: Status messages are accessible to assistive technologies without needing to be focused on.
