European Business Recovery Plan

Start of main content

A unique opportunity to transform our society and the economy.

The European Recovery Plan or Next Generation EU will contribute to the European recovery following the crisis caused by Covid-19 and support the investment in the ecological and digital transitions. From the more than €2 trillion in aid, Spain has been allocated €140 billion, €72.7 billion in subsidies and €67.3 million in loans.

This unprecedented project has seen public administrations and companies work together to repair the damage caused by the pandemic, in addition to transforming the economy and building a more sustainable and digital Europe.

Plan for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience of the Spanish Economy

In October 2020, the Spanish government presented the first version of the Plan for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience, setting out the series of investments and reformations to mobilise the 72 million euros of aid due between 2021 and 2023.
